I have listed fixed price format in my listings many times before and have always had the Best Offer option show up but noticed tonight's fixed price auctions launched without a Best Offer option. I went into eBay and revised most of them. I left the ones ending tomorrow night (Monday) and the last one I posted tonight for you to look at and see if you can see why the Best Offer option was not included (I also made copies of these auctions and they are in my pending list). I have always had the box checked in my Vendio account to enable Best Offer (and it still is)...I never had to check it again when I created each individual auction on the Create Listing page. Was something recently changed on your end?
I double checked and when you create a new listing from scratch, the best offer box is already checked by default.
If you create a listing by copying a previous item, relisting an item that was similar to it, or by using an inventory profile - you'd obviously want to be sure that those items were setup the same way since your listing would be using those settings instead.

The Best Offer box was checked in my account for at least the last 6 months...why did the auctions I scheduled last night post without the Best Offer feature? That is what I'm trying to find out. I shouldn't have to check the box again when I list each auction...and if I do look and see no check in the box when I'm creating an auction, something must be wrong with the system if the box is checked in my account. I know that using an old auction will use the settings I had at the time of its launch but these were all brand new auctions...no relists, no copies and I don't use inventory profiles.
The first thing to find out is if the box is checked in the ones you sent to eBay, so we can decypher if the issue is that you had it checked and something in our sending that option to eBay didn't work - OR - when you copy the listings and view them in pending, is the box NOT checked?
If it's checked and it doesn't show on the item once it gets to eBay, that will be something we'll have to log as an engineering issue with the eBay developers.
If it's unchecked, then the question is why wasn't it checked already when you created your listing from scratch. - If this is the case, the first thing to check is if the box is checked when you create a brand new listing from scratch right now. Click to create a new listing, look to see if the box is checked or not. If it is, it's possible some perfect scenario of browser/setting issues somehow allowed you to create a listing without this box being checked (even though as you mentioned it is currently set to do so in your default preferences.)

I just created 2 fixed price test auctions and they are currently in my pending list. The Best Offer box was already checked when I made the auctions. The copy (was copied after it was launched) of the sticker I launched last night from scratch (just above the test auctions) does not have the box checked while it sits in pending. Should I create an auction and see if the Best Offer option shows up once it is live on eBay?
Yes, for now double check that A. you see the box checked when you create the item and then B. if that transfers to eBay. My only other guess currently as to recreating an issue like this would be to use tabs to jump from field to field on the listing form as it would be easy to uncheck a box while tabbing through it (it would require tabbing to the box and hitting the spacebar.)
