When will Vendio consolidate the bug filled error prompting old Item Specifics section with the newer Custom Item specifics?
Custom items specifics need to look like it does on eBay (one screen / area, not two competing ones), with asterisks, or something to show the required fields (this is very important so things list and not come back as errors), or if left in their current form, need to be able to be clicked without having to prefill anything in (so I can just have the required fields showing and an employee will know to fill in those fields).
Having two different sections, both of which that need information filled in, but yet will error on other information, is extremely difficult.
This change has been out since July 20th, 49 days ago, and I have been told several times this would be done by now.
I have been waiting to fix about 2,000 items, most are GTC, that need this fixed, and are probably getting horrible search placement in their current form.
Please give an ETA on this, as I badly need this done.
eBay released 80 title characters today.
I would desperately like to do all the changes at once and as soon as possible(items specifics and title). Any chances?

We are in the process of pushing support for the new 80 character limit, though it isn't yet available. We can post back to this thread to let you know when it's live and available to start populating.
As for the Item Specifics - just use the Custom Item Specifics as these are the new ones and the ones that eBay will be using for all categories eventually. Currently they only require them for Clothing Shoes and Accessories but will require their use on other categories in the future. Once they no longer even accept the regular Item Specifics, we will remove them. The only difference in the eBay listing form is that they automatically hide the 'old' ones when you list to Clothing Shoes and Accessories and then show both the new and old when listing to other categories (though the display is slightly different.)
Once they stop allowing the old ones to be used, we will do the same.

Hello,
Sorry for the confusion. There are still some categories where the original item specifics are still recognized, but rest assured that the fields you *need* for any given category are there and available to use. We are sorry that the method in which they are displayed is causing you such grief currently.
