I listed items last night and they were working now they are messed up.

The drop down menu has disappeared for each item specific category (so you can pick through the choices eBay lists for you). This is horrible...

If I try to change categories, (womens sweater to mens sweater), no item specifics come up at all, just the add a custom item specifics. This is horrible...

The last two listings in my Pending : Brunello mens sweater (now shows no item specifics as stated above), and TEM New sweater, has no drop down menus.

I cannot guess what to type in each time.

Is Vendio changing things / what is going on?

Thank you for your help.

Hello,

While eBay has moved to using Custom Item Specifics for all clothing categories, they still have a number of preformatted drop down choices once you click on 'brand' or 'size'/etc.

If that list isn't showing up at all, try simply purging your browsers temp files and restarting to see if that clears it up. I had this happen to me once and just restarting the browser was good enough to get them to load again, but you may as well purge the temp files while your at it.

In FireFox, click on 'Tools' and then 'Clear Private Data' to purge it's temp files from your machine. Close out of FireFox and then launch it again and try listing. Please let us know the results of your efforts.

Chris

Hi, I too am having the same problem on my computer. I am running Windows 7. I have other computers here running Windows Vista and they are not having the problem. I tried deleting the temporary files and restarting the computer but it did not help. Have you got any other ideas? This is real aggravating. Thank you.

Hello,

You are running Internet Explorer, so it should be as simple as going to Tools+Internet Options and deleting the temporary internet files/history and restarting.

If that isn't working however, try going back to that same tools menu where you clicked to delete the temp files and look for 'compatibility mode' - then click on it.

Please let us know the results of your efforts.

Regards,
Chris

Hi Chris,

I finally figured out to click on the "compatibility view" button on the Address bar and the problem was fixed.

Thank you. Susan
