I entered the description and it shows but when I go to see it before launch, part of the listing is missing??
I even tried launching it but part of the listing was missing. I had to cancel the whole thing.

Do you mean that part of the description is missing when you do an eBay preview and/or when you launch the listing? Please let us know the name of the pending listing that you are having trouble with (or the listing number for the one that you launched), as well as the part of the description that is missing, so that we can take a look.

Thank you for the additional information. The problem is that you are using black text with a template that has a black background. (So the text is there, but it is the same color as the background.) Please try either changing the template or the color of the text, and let us know should you continue to have trouble with this.
It looks like you also are using Custom Listing Text, which is also black text. In order for it to show up you would have to edit your Custom Listing text (for all of your future listings) so that that text is not black as well. Unless you are planning on using a black background for all of your future listings, the best (easiest) way to handle this would be to pick a different template.
