I signed up for watermarking today but it only is watermarked in the body of the description and not in the gallery pic. Is that how its supposed to be? If so, they can still steal the pic from the gallery without it being marked.

Only the ones I listed after I signed up. The other 2600 listings that are currently for sale only have the watermark on the photo inside the description.

Probably because the gallery photos go though eBay after they get sent from Vendio, so the older galleries are no longer from Vendio

Thank you for writing in. As I understand the Watermark does not appear on the gallery images of listings that were listed before you signed up for Vendio. If this is so it because the Gallery images are submitted to eBay and are hosted on eBay and the watermark would not be inserted on such images.

Sunil

When the listing ends and I re-list the item, I would think at that point the watermark would appear, but again, it does not. I have to make a copy of the listing before I can get it to appear. I happen to be doing that this month for a lot of my listings, but wish I didn't have to worry about that.

Thank you for your reply. We are not sure if you are re listing on eBay itself or relisting the items from Vendio. In case they are being relisted directly on eBay the image watermarks would not appear on the gallery images.
