Hi Chetan, no luck with either of the URLs you sent. The first one was for iPhoto which I cannot use due to not being able to update to High Sierra due to my Macbook being too old.
The 2nd URL going to Global preferences seemed like it should work except after I click on all the correct instructions when I double click the images they just pop up on the screen as a large image instead of into the upload image box. Perhaps I should call Apple to see if they have any ideas.
I renamed the Macbook images and added the .jpg to them so they should have worked.
One other solution because I am probably doing something wrong is to switch to my PC.
But when I plugged my camera into the USB port on the PC no images showed up on my desktop. Somehow when I transferred the photos from my camera to the PC I did something wrong But I have no idea what. Perhaps I will just retake the photos and try again, but that seems like a waste. They should have worked.
Maybe going into the Global Preferences and clicking on the resize didn't work. Anyway it is all very frustrating and confusing. So if you have any of your wonderful suggestions I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for your help and patience with me. Steve

Hello,
Thank you for writing in. Please note if you are able to upload the images from a PC then you could try using the XPress Image Publisher in order to resize the images. The second option would be to change the settings on your camera to take smaller sized images. Lastly there are also image resize tools (such as http://picresize.com) available on the internet that might help, but we can't say how well they will work, unfortunately.
Please let us know if you have any questions
Best regards,
Chetan
