I ran my first couple of auctions last week to try out this service. I checked the box that enabled me to get a copy of my WBN notices e-mailed to me. The WBN for the first auction was sent out immediately after it ended, last Sat. night. The other auction's WBN was not sent out until this morning- more than three days after it ended! By then the winning bidder had already contacted me requesting payment info. My question is- does this happen very often. I only ran two auctions and it happened 50% of the time, which isn't even close to acceptable since the WBN feature was one of the main reasons I decided to use Auctionwatch. Would appreciate truthful info. on how reliable this feature is. THANKS
No, this is not a common error for regular non buy it now auctions. There did appear to be some error with the system tracking this item correctly, as even when I logged into your account to check into this that auction was in the active section with 'closed' beside it.
If you ever catch your auctions stuck in the active section, select and refresh to drop them into closed. Once they reach the closed list, the WBN can be sent out.
