I noticed tonight a click here to take a control panel survey.
First, I'd like to say I am glad you asked my opinion, as I am the one that has to use it. Thank you very much for asking.
I put in all my answers, click the button at the bottom of the page and guess what happened next......I got the "The page cannot be displayed" error message. I clicked my back button and all my info was gone. Do I darn take my time to fill it out again?
While, at least you asked...but it appears you really don't want to know.

Worse than that -- I just took the survey and when I went back to my control panel here's what I saw:
An entire page of error messages -- one PER AUCTION! It said:
Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource /var/www/lib/php/v2/db.inc on line 441.
Then below that are each active auction listed again each with one of those "updating" banners after it.
Went out and back in again and cannot get my control panel corrected!
AW I sure am glad I could help you out by taking your survey! NOW FIX MY CONTROL PANEL PLEASE?!

Don't think the problem is tied to the survey....Everything totally messed up when I tried to log on this a.m. (6:30 CDT). Fix please...

...besides the above mentioned problems
The survey "traps" you into making a choice regarding this "new" page.
PLEASE don't put in yet another page to have to go through. I have a cable modem connection and AW moves so slow that I try to do things with the least amount of page loads just so I can get my work done.
I pay to use this sight to do my WORK. I made this choice because, at the time, the time AW saved me was worth the fees. It is getting to the point that the time (waiting) may not be worth the fees.
Adding all of these elaborate views and frills is, at this point, just causing me more work and more time.
I am paying for FUNCTION not FRILLS!
PLEASE re-think what you are doing.

Great Control Panel guys!!!!!!!
I can't even get to it or see it.
Is this how it's going to save us time?
By not being able to use it we'll have more time to do other things?
Isn't it about time you got rid of your so called engineering dept and employed some people with the know-how to develop and maintain a site?
The reputation you may once of enjoyed is going down the gurgler at a rapid rate of knots.
Most of us don't need the so called bells and whistles. All we need is a plain straight-forward simple system that delivers when we need it.
Get your act together A/W.

CMDAR: Boy, I couldn't have said it better myself! I have a cable modem also and AW is the slowest site on the internet as far as I am concerned. We certainly do NOT need yet another screen to wade through in the nightly battle to build and load auctions. I've actually gotten to the point where I don't even use the Control Panel to check on my bid status during the day because it's simply too slow to refresh - I've gone back to using My EBay. Now AW thinks they're helping us with yet another screen? Perhaps more advertising can be sold this way? More Pop-Ups?

lennonhall: I too have resorted to viewing only "my ebay" because of the refresh delay on AW. I guess I'm using AW less and less these days and really didn't realize - how much less!

Hello everyone,
There were some problems on the site that caused you to be unable to view your Control Panel but everything is up and running now. Regarding the ads, they have always been a part of our site, and they will continue to be as they help to keep costs down for our users. Please direct any further feedback on the ads to the Feedback forum.

Sonya~ Tell everyone Thank You for getting the Control Panel up and running again! Much appreciated!!! But one thing.......yes it is true, The advertisement that is on the browser as part of the page when you go to any page of Auction Watch is always there.... But...those Extra annoying pop up windows of advertisement were not! I do remember a time when they Weren't there (when this was a free enviroment )and your fellow folk wasn't sure they knew where they were coming from either...or so they said~ I know things always change but Maybe I missed that with all the confusion of things because of the changes...don't really know for sure. I don't tend to visit these forums much, but I will have to look at your "feedback forum" to see what's up...never been there~
Regards,

Before I go fill out this survey again, I would like to know if it is FIXED.
It takes time to answer your questions. Time is money. I do feel it is worth my time because it as a direct affect on how I do business. But I did it once and it failed. Is it working or not?
It seems that the above replies mostly are not even on the suggest.
It also seems that SonyaAW totally avoided repling about the original post here!
Just let me know if the survey works.

Hi richierich,
Yes, the survey should be working at this time -- we tested it yesterday evening and it was functioning properly. We apologize for the delay in addressing your original concern.
