Are you going to continue with these animated ads for Casino-On-Net? I keep getting hung up on them, I have to hit stop and then back out to start all over again. I have a cable modem connection and normally have no trouble until I get to this site. Please answer me so I can decide whether or not to go searching for another auction listing site as this is getting old.

I don't mind ads...what I mind is ANIMATED ads. Thanks for your response and for your much longer email, however, I'm not having trouble with pop-up ads as you suggested, I haven't seen any pop-ups on your site. There is no way to shut down the type of ads you run when they freeze my computer. They're just there when I switch from page to page. Something COULD be done about them.
I don't need a reply, I just needed to vent. Thanks.

Hi kelliegirl,
I'm not sure why you're having trouble with the ads, but if you will let us know what browser/version you are using, we will pass along the information to our advertising department. Perhaps there is a problem with the ad server or a browser compatibility issue.

For others who are using Internet Explorer:
go to Preferences:Web content: and uncheck "Animate GIFs"
In IE5 for Mac, Preferences is under the Edit menu. I know you can do this on PCs also because I did it on my machine at work but can't tell you where Prefs is right now because i'm at home. (I only use my work machine for work-related things....)

My system is running under Microsoft ME and so I couldn't find that menu system. However, under tools and then internet options, select advanced. From there, scroll down to multimedia and unclick play animations. Now the Casino-On-Net ad doesn't jump around anymore, he mellowed out
As for Half.com pop unders make sure you have cookies enabled. I tried to set it at disable because I thought my computer might get fat from eating too many cookies and I was bombarded with Half.com pop unders 1 or more for each screen I entered. After I re-enabled it I was okay.
