I was in hopes I can change the "Feedback Reminder" to something else, or a second choice, like "Thanks for the Feedback" The subjet "Feedback Reminder" is very demanding.
Even though I have changed the content of the "Feedback Reminder" people freak when they see it. I only send "Feedback Reminder" to poeple who leave feedback due to the fact of the dreded NEG..... only after do I leave a feedback
Am I able to change Feedback Reminder to another subject through my controll panel ? Or are you (AW) working on a second choice title.
If someone sent me a "Feedback Reminder" I would think they should shove it.

Hi AuthorizedArt,
The only subject line that you can change is the greeting message. I will pass along your suggestion.

This request has been made numerous times several months ago. Obviously not a big deal to AW.

The thing that is really BAD is that the heading we see is "Feedback Received" - so naturally we would think we are sending a Feedback Thank You.
If a seller wasn't careful to change the message (although still not capable of changing the subject) it would be Bad and Sad.
"Feedback Received" should _not_ be a "Feedback Reminder"!!!!

Hey, Brian.
This suggestion has been "passed along" many times in the past. How about an update on why this simple request has not been implemented.
I'll help you. How about start a sentence with, "The reason this is so hard to implement is ____________ but we do intend to do it. Just hang in there. We expect it to be up on __/__/__."
Or even, "This suggestion has been reviewed and there are no plans to implement it because _________."
This particular issue is especially irksome and bewildering to me becuase it would seem so simple to make the subject line editable since you've already done it on the greeting. At worst just change the wording to something a little less obtrusive.

I've requested this same thing MANY times as I have received a few not-so-happy- replies from my custmers thinking I'm pushy or condescending with the subject saying "Feedback Reminder". Last time I requested a title option was May 5, and here is a copy of the response:

Hi Biffette,
I see your point -- I will be sure to pass this suggestion along to Product Development.
Callie
So, what did Product Development have to say? We're all waiting.............

I couldn't agree more. I NEVER use the feeback reminder for that very reason. It is very poorly and, I think, offensively written. As a power seller I have managed to maintain a positive rating of over 2000 with only 4 negatives, 2 of which are actually positives made in error but I could not get removed. If I were to use this feedback reminder part of your "service" I have no doubt I would be getting many more negatives. It seems like a simple enough change to make to benefit the people who pay to have this as a part of the service you offer.

I agree with all my fellow AW subscribers that the Feedback Reminder is harsh, and needs a better title, as well. This is supposed to be a service for us, and suggested improvements should have some importance. Such a simple thing to change, too! Are your bosses spending more time on how to double fees to us, rather than providing adequate service? This new increase is very disappointing.

You can edit the message itself...go to My Accounts, in the right hand column (Seller Preferences) click on "Post Sale Management". Scroll down...
I changed my message to my own words so even though the subject says, "Feedback Reminder" the message is a lot better.
Now, Christopher, don't take this the wrong way but it's spelled "implEment" - you use the word a lot so I thought you'd like to know your spell checker isn't working.

I had altered the message after my first NEG, after my first NU I stopped using it all together AND the NU was because "some inconvenience paying with email change and trip taken" That is when AW had stopped the email service and I was on a one week vacation.. Although the neg I have and NU are exceedingly ridicules, I asked for the feedback in a impolite way, in my honest opinion..
The title needs to be changed or we need options like the feedback we give.
otherwise I would guess this option is nothing but risky for everyone

Well, Christopher. That much is obvious, but how about a short explanation of the thinking behind keeping it the way it is. This thread is pretty old and the complaint is ancient. Are you getting a lot of users saying they love the wording? I don't think so. Call it "Transaction Followup" or something. It would take 5 minutes to change it.
I don't remember a thread demanding a new "Sales Manager Business Edition". I would think that what your actual users need might play a part in your implementation schedule.
Respectfully,
Jeff

Hello everyone,
First, let me apologize if I came off harsh in an earlier reply (thanks for your note Lisa), it is my goal to help you best get the information you need as well as forward on your comments and suggestions for engineering to review.
Next, know that we do log all suggestions and have been logging all of yours on this issue. Engineering has been working on the new software as well as getting this eBay API ready to go live to the site (which we ended up stepping up a notch and pushing already today) so they have been unable to address some of these other issues.
We will make sure that the urgency for this change is recognized, and get back to you all as soon as possible on this issue.
Thank you for your suggestions and continued support.
Christopher
