More often than not, when I try to revise an item on eBay that I've listed using Auctionwatch, I'm unsuccessful. I begin the revision process, fix the typo or whatever it was that I wanted to revise, then I get as far as the "continue" button in the relist process. When I hit that button the verfication page won't load and I get a "This page cannot be displayed," or a "done" message but nothing loaded on the verfication page. When I hit refresh, I get an error in input message. The only way I have to fix the problem I wanted to revise, if it is serious, is to end the auction, edit to fix the problem and then relist. That can get expensive. Where or what am I doing wrong? Thanks,
Denny

Hi Mrbooks,

We are aware of the trouble that people have been having when trying to revise their auctions. Some of the time if simply takes a few minutes for the page to load after you have verified. Try not to hit the Refresh button after you click the verify button. We are working at resolving this delay.

I have been having the exact same problem for some time now too. It is very frustrating.

Hi Everybody!
I have had the same problem for as long as I can remember. The problem isn't AW, it's a browser issue. I use IE 5.5 most of the time but it is incompatible with eBay's revision set up. So I use either Netscape (which flakes out on me a lot lately and freezes) and I now use only "Opera", (www.opera.com) a small browser eBay recommended to me that they have found is very compatible with their system - and it is. Fast, efficient, simple, etc., what a relief to not have to sit and refresh a gillion times to do a revision!!
Hope this works for you-all. Give it a try! Good Luck!

Welcome to the Opera group. That's exactly how I solved the problem also. Even Opera 3.2 without the full Java plugin will work better than IE, and it will fit on a single floppy disk.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

Thanks to everyone who gave advice.
I downloaded Opera, quick and easy, and am having fun experimenting with it. It is pretty darned fast.
Did one revision without mishap. Looks like this is the resolution. (In case you wondered, you can use several different brands of browser, simply minimizing the ones not currently being used.)
Again, thanks to all who helped.

You're welcome Denny! =)

It's such a shame all the poor souls using IE, suffering through that revision nightmare with it and not knowing. I sure wish there was a way to let them all know what to do!
