I am not running into an issue with that popup coming up every time I log in, nor are we currently receiving any other reports of this error. Unless you manually purge your browser temp files every day, you should not see it that often.
If you do clear those temp files manually (essentially removing all of your cookies) then you will see it each time, since the system does not see you as receiving it recently.
Sorry for the delay, we were searching through the email queue for other reports of this error.

Not only do I get the pop up but it jams my browser! The only way I can get rid of it is turning my computer off! I got so annoyed that I wrote these people and this is the answer I got:
Dear Guest,
Thank you for contacting us.
Our advertisements will come up on your screen when you visit a website
where we advertise. To avoid this you should not visit websites where we
advertise, or, make a deal with them and pay for your visits to avoid
advertisements, if they have that option.
If you want to use these sites free of charge, someone has to pay for
it. In this case, we are paying so you can enjoy these websites for
free.
I am sorry for the inconvenience, but this is how it works.
If you require further assistance in this or any other matter please
feel free to contact us. We are here for you 24 hrs a day, everyday.

P.S. I then wrote back and told themn I DO pay for the use of the site and the pop ups from their company freezes my browser. The only way I can stop it is to restart my computer. This is totally annoying. Please note that the Casino ads do not always come up, only periodically.
This is the answer I got from those idiots:
Dear Guest,
Thank you for contacting us again.
I am sorry, but we cannot provide you with a means to close these sites.
Kindly contact the website you wish to receive without advertisements
and ask their assistance in providing you with a site that has no ads.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Sincerely,

So I guess AW should tell me which other competitor's site I can use which will not have pop ups. Or AW can research why this pop up is doing this. It cannot be removed from my screen either!

Until these people, including AW people, spend a few hours a day trying to run auctions, they will never have a clue. The really important thing they don't understand is that some of us often click and review a decently presented, unobtrusive sidebar ad but most of us avoid with a passion doing business with the pop-up ads. I use some sites that tell us "please view our sponsers' ads", which I do at my leisure and even bought something once!
Very confusing...I had the same difficulties but they inexplicably ended shortly after the 9/11 nightmares...
I've been running with javascript and java on and cookies enabled for over a month now and not one pop-up (knock on wood)...
We have 4 separate Macs networked and I haven't seen one on any of them...
The only relevant software we run is WebFree, which did nothing to stop the previous pop-ups from getting through...
Don't know what to tell you...only to make sure all cookies from AW are enabled....there's a few that control the pop-ups (when they run them)....and to clear the browser's cache and temp files (sorry, I don't speak Wintel too well *G*) because sometimes a cached image or page will persist even though the live link has been disabled...
I can say definitively that turning off javascript will defeat nearly all pop-ups but will render portions of sites like AW's unusable...
