In another related thread, Diana stated that the CHECKOUT feature will be added to Auctionwatch's programs today.
Can an Auctionwatch member please address this?
I do not want to go through what I did last night when 150 auctions ended!
I had to cancel 10 Billpoint payments because no shipping was added!
PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE ASAP!!!!

Good news! Thank you. How will we know? Will weget an e-mail? Or will it just turn up as an option? I am going ahead with my listing today but until the features is added I will have to revise each lising at e-bay. What a nuisance! (Don't throw stones at me but I acually like the checkout feature when it works well.)

Hello,
Checkout support has been launched to the site. To specify your checkout settings, go to eBay Site Specifics in your My Account tab. Here is a quick link for your convenience:
https://secure.auctionwatch.com/my/acct/seller_site_specifics.html?site_id=1
Let us know any questions you have as you go along.

I do have some questions. I clicked your link for the the default checkout details and looked that over. I assumed it would be like the default shipping costs where when you do the actual listing you can overwrite the costs if that item is more or less than the default settings. But then when I clicked the create listing button there are no checkout details on that. So it appears that there is still no way for us to specify checkout details on an individual basis. Am I missing something?

Hi Mantzcak,
I looked at your eBay Site specifics -- did you select to not specify checkout details as your default and save that? Or did you choose something different? You can edit on a per item basis -- basically you can set a default, and everytime you go to create your listing, that default will show. However if you want to change it for that particular listing, you can do so on the create listing page and it will override the default.

This is totally inadequate. How can we globally set shipping fees? This means for every one of my auctions I have to leave the shipping blank and depend on the buyer to insert the proper fee. Why did Auctionwatch not set it up so we can adjust every auction accordingly?
My problems from last night will not be corrected with how you implemented this feature. Please address this.

Hello maplelaffs,
Why did Auctionwatch not set it up so we can adjust every auction accordingly?
You can adjust every auction as needed. First, go to your My Account tab and indicate that you wish to use the checkout feature at eBay.
Then, click on any item you have in your pending section and you can adjust the shipping totals for the storefront if you wish to use that feature. Or, if you have items in inventory, click on the title for that item and hit the 'setup' link at the bottom to include your shipping totals for that item.
If this does not address the issue you are working on, please clarify.

Sonya: I do not understand your post. Once you set the glabal preferences the whole batch has those preferences. Do we now have to save the batches in terms of particular s/h amounts, upload then change the global preferences when another bunch with a different s/h fee is required.
Please clarify as I am totally lost.

Hi Maplelaffs,
I didn't realize that you were referring to AMPro. At this time, Checkout isn't supported in AMPro. It will be available in Sales Manager BE first.

When I posted earlier I had not selected anything, just looked at it. Now that I have selected global checkout it does show up on the individual listing and I would be able to adjust the shipping. Next question, why doesn't the checkout info show up on the preview? I would like to see it before I actually launch it. Has anyone launched today from AW with the checkout info filled out?

AW:
Alright I tried entering the data. I clicked the box next to "I am not specifying data" and entered my data in the box (less than 500 characters - ebay's limit, which you may wish to mention to others), but when I press "save" and then click on the link back to the same page it shows it wasn't saved. It just shows an empty box. So it looks like it is not saving the data.
Also surprise surprise that you won't be offering AMpro atleast at the same time as Sales Manager (if not BEFORE). I would have to guess that 95%+ of your customers are and will still be using AMpro, that is until they leave.

I just put a note in my global preferences that said to wait until they got my WBN email to determine shipping, etc. (my shipping varies by item and often by the location of the buyer).
This note has not showed up anywhere in my listing creating template. Am I missing something here?

Hello,
When you check the box that says not to display any checkout information, our system is then not sending the note with the information you entered into that box.
Only when you use the check out will that text appear currently. Engineering is aware of this issue and working on a resolution for it.

you have to click to turn on the checkout for any of the data to be saved and show up.
if you choose to not specify AW checkout feture will stay turned off at least this is what I find so you cant put a message in the box inless you turn the checkout feature on.

Will that be fixed? When?
Or do I have to select use checkout and then put a message stating that I don't want them to use the checkout?

I am confused. I have the checkout option in all of my listings now. I fill out the required fields and it still does not show up in the ad on Ebay. Why not?

Hi Ihobo,
It should show up for auctions that you launch after specifying your checkout details. For currently running auctions, it won't show.
