While we perform some routine maintenance. Please try again in a few hours."
It's been 12 hours. How much longer. I desperately need to launch new auctions. This is my only source of income. Please, please respond. Thank you.

Hi Jim,

There are a few other AOL users running into this error message currently. Please see this thread for more information.

If it is any consolation to you it has been 3 days since I have been able to upload a photo- They say it is an AOL problem but I don't buy it

The problem is with a cached image in an AOL proxy server. Try changing your AOL access number. You may have to try two or three different numbers but eventually you'll hit one that will allow you to access image hosting normally.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

Hi Jackensack,

The problem is with the way images are cached on the AOL server. The only workarounds we have are to clear your cache, or do as Sparkz suggested and try different access numbers. We are in the process of investigating potential solutions from here, but we also suggest that you contact the AOL/CompuServe customer support department in regards to this.

Jim,
I am experiencing the same problem. It is extremely frustrating. I have contacted AOL-it is Auctionwatch.Com problems not AOL. Auctionwatch.Com thinks it is AOL's problem. I am thinking this is a catch 22 situation here and we probably won't get any action until someone takes responsibilkity for the problem! Who might that be?

Hello,

Eventually AOL will purge their cached pages and this will no longer be a problem. In the meantime, I would also suggest following Sparkz's suggestion of trying different access numbers until you find one that connects to a different proxy. You should then be able to view images normally.
