I was received a response to an AW Shipment Notification e-mail that I sent out this morning. It included a copy of the actual notice (the winner hit the Forward button).
The following text appeared at the bottom:
======
Please click on link below to track the shipment with AuctionWatch.com
If the link below doesn't appear to be clickable, please copy and paste the
entire URL into the address box of your browser window.

Hello,
Click on the link once, it is not an advertisement.
This link in the shipment notification is not new, it has been in place for some time.
It's simply giving your buyers a free easy way to click once and view the status of their item
We will log your comments as a suggestion to make this option in the future.
Currently there is no option to have this show up in this notification or not.

You say it has been there for some time - I really wouldn't know. I don't receive this e-mail, my winners do.
You suggest that I click on the link to see that it is not an advertisement. IT IS! You direct people to use an AuctionWatch service = what's that, if not advertising. I certainly don't support IShip.com!
Also, if this has been there for "some time," how come it doesn't show up when you "preview" the shipment notice?
It is obnoxious behavior and extremely rude!
So thank you for one more reason NOT to use AW's PSM.
