eBay cancelled nine of my auctions within hours of closing last night because they claimed the listings contained "keyword spamming."
I have followed up with several questions for them, but here's one for AW:
There is no trace of the auctions either here or at eBay; is there >any way< to get to the HTML code that was associated with any one of these auctions?
I'd like to relist these items - with the appropriate corrections - and would really be at a major loss to have to start from scratch.
(And Sonya, it is really kinda funny that "Mr. PackRat" doesn't have the source code for these - they were a new format - but let's not go there...)
You will not be able to relist these items as they are no longer in eBay's database. There is a way to get to the HTML though. These auctions are now in your closed section. If you check the box next to the auction and click on relist you will be brought to a page with your item. To the right of the item you will see an Edit link. Click this link and you will be able to copy the HTML in the Item Description box and paste it in a new auction.
