I have been on the AW yearly power plan for 6 months and could have as many pictures on my auctions as needed. As of today it is only allowing 4 pics! I need help here because we list 200+ actions a week and with only 4 pictures allowed we can't list!
HELP!
What happens when you attempt to attach more than 4 images in your listing that you are unable to do so?
Are you attaching images in the regular create listing form from the Auction Manager? If so, you should still be able to attach as many images as you want.

I same every auction to inventory and list form their. I had saved 20+ listings with more than for pictures last night and listed them today. I went on ebay and all the listings only showed 4 pics. Went back in my inventory and it had knoked off all but the first four pictures in each auction. Tried to add a pic. and it would not let me. Pop-up stated "only four pictures allowed.
Unfortunately in inventory, items that you store here to list over and over can only have 4 images included.
This is not new though, the 4 image limit in inventory has existed for quite some time now.
If you just started using online inventory, and have a need for both inventory and the use of greater than 4 images per your inventory items you may want to consider using our Auction Manager Pro software instead.
You can create your inventory offline, include greater than 4 images per item and upload as needed.

I have been saving & listing more than 4 pics for more than 5 months through the inventory. Just last night it worked fine with 9 pics saved and listed from inventory. It has always saved as many pics as we needed before today. Why the change now!

I just looked up one that I listed last night from inventory, NG-26, and it shows 9 pics. If you go into my inventory pull up NG-26 and go to ebay edit, than pic preview and it will have 9 pictures. Im sure you can find several hundred in my inventory with will over 4 pics. I really need this to work again and don't understand why today it won't allow it. I noticed on one of your other message posts people were upset today about only 4 pics allowed in your newest auction plan that I think you started today.
Please help!

Looking at your message center for SMBE people are complaining about only allowing 4 pics in their inventory & are changing back to Auction Manager that allows them more pics. was I switched over to SMBE my mistake?
First, the SMBE does support greater than 4 images per item now - but you need to download the program again to aquire it as there is no auto-update for it right now. You are not using that program though, so you can disregard that for now.
You are correct, your items do show more than 4 images when you use the template preview button on auctions saved to inventory from the create auction page with more than 4. The test item I created when you first posted this does the same, so new auctions you create and save to inventory should also be able to preview as having more than 4 images.
I understand that what you are saying is that when you submitted these items *from* inventory in the past, they listed with those extra images even though they never actually appeared in inventory except for the template preview button. Now, when you list these types of items, they are listing to eBay with only the 4 - correct?
Do you have an example of an item you listed *from* your inventory that will preview with extra images but did not post with such?
We will continue to work with you on this issue.

1. I went to the Auction Manager and created a new item for eBay, and included 8 images. Before I chose to save it, I also checked the box to save that item to inventory.
2. I went to inventory and opened this item, while it does not show all 8 images when you preview the listing using the template preview it does show all 8 images.
3. I selected this item in inventory, and launched it to ebay. When this item posted to eBay, it did so with all 8 images still in tact.
While you cannot create an item *in* inventory with more than 4 images, or add images to an item that already has 4 once in inventory - the item does appear to still list and preview with the original images.
Perhaps you edited these items after saving to inventory, and something in the editing process somehow wiped the additional images from them?

Yes that makes sense now on how the pictures are saved, but still not sure why it droped all but 4 pics on my last 25 auctions. I saved them last night & did edit a couple, but I also checked the pics on every auction and they were fine. Could it be something I did in that process that will drop pictures from the inventory. Or maybe just a fluke? I have been listing the same way for over 5 months with out any problems, and list over 200 a week! I quess I will start listing and see what happens. Thanks BR
