AW says the answer to the late "Buy It Now" WBN's being sent to winning bidders, is to change our Ebay email address and have all Ebay mail filtered through Auction Watch first. DO YOU FOLKS FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH THAT?? Thanks for responses.

Not really, but it is only ebay email not personal email and I really need faster WBN on BIN without having to be online and logged in to AW babysitting the auctions and hitting refresh for 30 minutes to get a WBN to go out, so I switched it like they said mainly to see whether it will help. I can always switch it back. Seems like AW could have come up with another solution. We asked for AW to email us our statements and they gave us a way to download it instead. Now we needed the AW site to auto-refresh a few times a day and they filter our emails instead. Go figure. I always tell my hubby about the latest AW "soap operas" and he just shakes his head in disbelief. He works with computers for a living, fixing software/hardware issues, so he has quite a bit of computer knowledge and he gets a kick out of the strange problems AW has and the "solutions" they come up with. He says it is entertaining. I'm glad someone is amused.

Working with 'puters - both hardware and software - is my business too. But I still auction comic books on eBay and use AW to manage it.
I don't have enought response to my BINs to justify changing my e-mail ID.
But yeah, it is awfully funny to find out some of the workarounds.
This is all news to me. Change our email address with ebay to what? An address with auctionwatch? How does that work? Is there a thread on this somewhere?
I'm really tired of reloading all the pages daily.
Also AW thanks for totally disregarding my suggestion 3 months ago regarding a "bulk refresh" button (bacially click one button, and have it automatically update all the pages). Would have been much nicer and simpler for us, but then again that never seems to be a real consideration for you.
Thanks,

Hello everybody,
Just some clarification on this issue - by changing your email address to point to our mail system, it will allow us to trigger a close event on a BIN item based on the email that is sent when the item closes. This means no fee increase, and also no waiting for BIN items to close. We felt that this was the best long-term solution for our customers.
We are currently doing a limited test with a few users before rolling this out to the entire user base. Everything is working well so far, and we will provide instructions to a larger audience shortly.
