I keep getting an error 96 about contradictory shipping terms. I had this same problem a little while again trying to relist a closed auction and finally gave up and relaunched that one from ebay- i was charged like 10 cents for the first picture and 4 cents for the rest of the pictures. I do not wish to do this again since i was charged the last time because I could not relist from auction watch. Please help me- i dod not have contradictory terms. thanks

Hi Nharmon,
Did you change anything upon relisting your auction? When that message comes up it means that your shipping terms on the relist are different than when you originally listed the item.

i have tried it both ways and still trouble. i just can't seem to relist an auction as is or to even change anything either- still the same error message.

no i don't use that check out thing- right after that check out business started on ebay- that is when the troubles started

i got it from the closed and it was only down a couple of closed items. it is sitting in the pending right now with the big error message on it.

Hi Nharmon,
I have looked into your pending section, and found out the error for "VINTAGE SKI DOO SNOWSUIT LOOK NOW". It is caused by the fact that you edited the item before trying to relist, and (most probably) changed shipping terms. This is a known relist error that our engineers, together with the engineering staff at eBay are working on.
A simple workaround would be to delete this from pending, and relist it once again without modifying the shipping terms.

Hi, I am having the same problem. Some of my relists are erroring out with "contradictory shipping terms". I didn't change anything.

Hi Sonya, I had about 10 items. I went ahead & deleted them from pending & relisted them again from my closed auctions. I'll let you know if it happens again. Thanks for the quick reply. Bob----cab694
