I am unable to create a new folder in inventory management on auction manager site. When I try to type in the name of the folder nothing happens. I am unable to get the space to activate. When I click the cursor there it does nothing. It is as if the space has been deactivated. Any help is appreciated.

I HAVE tried clearing the browser. I have tried it with AOL 7.0 with Netscape 6.2 and neither one works. I have a 750mzh system with tons of memory. I have never had this problem before. Not quite sure what to do next.

Hello,
So when you go to theManage Folders option in inventory, and click to create a New Folder - You do get the box to type in correct? It just does not allow you to enter anything into the fields?
Or does clicking on that button not even give you the box to type into?
I checked your account and was able to create a new folder without error.
If the box never comes up, make sure you have not adjusted your browsers Java settings. This option to create a new folder is triggered by JavaScript, which if it is not enabled currently, will be unable to display that option.

I just tried it on my second computer at home and it worked okay, so maybe it does have something to do with the Javascript on my other computer. I wll check that tommorow and email if it still does not work. Thanks for the help.

Hi cococgld,
The inventory management pages (including create / edit inventory item) use heavily Javascript. So if your computer does not have Javascript enabled (or simply does not support Javascript), you will find difficulties using them.
