Today, Thursday 12/20/01 is Free Listing Day on eBay. During Free Listing Day, all eBay insertion fees will be credited by eBay for new listings on ebay.com.

Please schedule your auctions to launch early, today. We expect heavy listing volume combined with eBay API capacity limits to create launching delays. We are currently working with eBay to increase capacity during high volume days such as today.

Use AuctionWatch seller services to take advantage of this offer! Schedule all of your auctions to launch in bulk today, and then use our post sales services for automated invoicing, handling payment, shipping and feedback.

Take advantage of this offer to increase your earnings this year!

Thanks,

The AuctionWatch Team

Hi there,

We are currently experiencing system latency due to the large volume of auctions being launched right now, so you should factor potential latency in when determining when you schedule your auctions to launch.

Thank you for your patience!

I can't even log on to list anything! Everytime I try to list or log on it says they can't retrieve my account information and to try again later. I keep getting booted out.

Sonya,

Have you resolved the issue of not being able to list auctions yet? Mine have been stuck in processing for over 3 hours.

I have auctions in the PENDING area saying PROCESSING for the past hour. Will this be resoved today in time to get the free listings? There are 139 of them. This is very frustrating. I hope it gets resolved soon.

Thanks

My auctions have been in processing for over 3 hours and now there are error messages on 4 of them. There is nothing wrong with these auctions. Look at them and now they go back to the bottom of the processing list. Re-listing on ebay is not a problem. AW cannot hanedle this traffic. Why do we have to pay image hosting fees if we can't relist on AW? I have to go to ebay and relist!! You should not be charging me 10 cents for image hosting fees if I can't relist on AW.

what a joy! Auctions stuck in pending- and from the other posts, it looks like it will be that way for at least...3 hours or more (and the real 'busy time' is yet to come). I just went to ebay to launch (figured that there has to be a way to take advantage of this 'free listing day'. Well, guess what? There picture-hosting service is 'unavailable at this time' (go figure). So, if I want to list directly on ebay, I will have to use my pictures directly from AW- which of course means a $.10 picture-hosting fee...but I get no postsale features for that money...

I have no intention of paying anyone so that I can list directly on ebay and take care of the postsale stuff myself- on a free listing day; as I really don't feel like forking over any money for pix service, when the reason that I can't list directly on AW is AW!

sigh, what a catch22

Hello,

We are no longer seeing any latency issues since eBay "tweaked" the API - you should be able to relist and launch your auctions now without a problem.

If your processing auctions errored out, please check the "details" link. If there is a non-specific error message, please check eBay to be sure that these auctions did not in fact launch before attempting to resubmit them.

Thank you again for your patience.

Diana
