I am not sure if this is the right place to ask but I need an answer.
I went to my account statement and found an image host fee on there.
I went to this auction of this seller, to find this seller is using my pictures!
I guess at my expense!
How can this seller do this, do they have access to my account?
What can be done about this?
I need some answers

I have done some research since I posted my question
I have found out this seller used my URL for the picture and the cost was put on my statement.
Everytime they list the item I get charged for that picture.
I have checked the properties of the pictures and it links back to me.
I need this checked into
I will email the sellers name and auctions after I am contacted.

In the past, others have suggested the following:
1. If you are not actively using the image in any of your auctions, delete it so that it no longer appears in the other person's auction
2. Some go so far as to suggest creating a new jpeg that has the phrase "free shipping" and uploading it under the same name so that the person who stole the image will be harrassed.
I'm not with AW, but you should definitely contact the seller and let him/her know that what they are doing is the equivalent of stealing.
But that's not to say that they wont' simply save the image under their folder and re-use it...
I've been lucky so far, and it has not happend to me, but all new auctions for 2002 will have my id placed in the jpeg to prevent this from happening.

Thank you for your reply but to let you know I went to each auction and right clicked on each picture and went to properties and my ID is there and they still used the picture and I get charged so that doesn't even help!

Hello barbaraannes,
We understand that this can be frustrating and upsetting, and we do accept refund requests for this situation. You may request a refund for the images using our refund request form:

This has been happening for months apparently not just once or twice.
I know how to do a refund but this seller should not be able to use my images and keep doing so.
I should not have to police my account every month and take to time to do refunds
Is there no way to stop him or her from continuing to do this?
Furthermore, if this seller could do this can anyone steal pictures like this and have my account charged?
