Hi,
I love the Post Sale Express page, it really make things so much faster for me to be able to check off multiples of auctions and click on a corresponding action to apply to them. Bravo!

Here are a few humble suggestions that promise to elevate "Post Sale Express" to an unbelievably EXCELLENT post sale tool!!! From someone who actually uses your services heavily and knows what they’re talking about =) me! - and not some software engineer, ( who although probably brilliant, underpaid , overworked and under appreciated), has most likely never used it!!)

Suggestion #1)
Requesting Feedback. Although the Close and Payment dates are extremely helpful on other Post Sale Express pages, in the "Awaiting Feedback" page, they are irrelevant. I, along with most other seller's, don't determine when to ask for feedback based on either of those dates. For all intents and practical purposes, requesting feedback is more a matter of timing based on when the item was SHIPPED, not when it closed or was paid. Their irrelevance on this page is due to the many variables that occur after closing : Many buyers either are very slow to respond, to pay, or pay by check, requiring time to be mailed, deposited & cleared. Also, there are those of us seller's who often ship a week to 10 days or more after payment clears for practicality purposes (live plants, customer requests, etc.) Then there are the different shipping methods used, differing in delivery time from 2-3 days to 2 weeks. So here again we see how auction close & payment dates are irrelevant on this page, (but indispensable on other’s.)

What is necessary for the "Awaiting Feedback" page to be as "Express" as the other pages is a "ship date" column. As it is now, the only info the page provides is who we need to send the Feedback Request to, but not WHEN! And the "who" can be found on any of the other pages just by seeing if the "Shipped" box is dark blue! As it is now, we have to go into each and every auction from the oldest up, open it up, scroll down, find out when it was shipped, then determine if enough time has elapsed since the ship date for them to have received the item, and if so, then click on the "Feedback Request" button. It's really very time consuming doing them all one at a time. Adding a "ship date" column, even while still leaving the other dates (if they are actually useful on that page to other member’s) , is supremely do-able from an engineering standpoint.

Suggestion #2)
When working in Post Sale, when on any page other than the 1st page, when whatever action is completed and the "Return" button appears, it always returns you to the 1st page, never the page you were just on. This should be adjusted to return to the page you were actually on.

Suggestion #3)
In "Post Sale Express" please change the "Number of Items Shown" option to stay at the number selected. It returns to the default every single time you return to that page or "refresh" it - mighty frustrating!

Suggestion #4)
This one I’ve suggested many, many times for a long time now about adding and deleting images: When going into an auction in "Inventory", the "add/delete" image box is so wonderful - pretty much instantaneous AND all the images are viewable right there. Adding or deleting requires no reloading of the page, it's like "ZAP!" and it's done. However, in all other areas of AW where you can "Add/Delete" images, not only are they not viewable from the page you're on, but the add/delete requires page re-loading and can take forever if you're doing a lot or it's a busy night for the servers, and ESPECIALLY if you can't remember exactly which image you need and you have to then go to "Image Hosting" to find it, then go back to the auction you were working on and continue. If you can have the fast, quick, convenient method in "Inventory", why not everywhere else?

Suggestion #5)
Whenever I have to enter a buyer’s info manually using the "edit" on PSM key #2, if I inadvertently leave out any data (payment option, city, zip, whatever) and the following page instructs me to go "back" and enter it, ALL the data I did enter is gone!! Really a pain when you’ve just gone back and forth 5 or 6 times between your e-mail or Paypal and the "edit" page, copying and pasting each individual line of name and address!! Please adjust this to retain whatever info was entered if/when having to return to it to add the missing data.
Thanks for your time and I hope the "engineers" see it my way! Keep up the good work!! =)

Hi biffette & kahml,

kahml, I don't know how we missed your thread... sorry about that! We do log customer suggestions, and in fact many of the improvements we make to our services are based on customer feedback.

I can't say for sure if/when your suggestions will be implemented, but we have definitely logged them and we will evaluate the possibility of implementation.

Thanks for posting!

Diana

It would also be WONDERFUL if we could sort by item number!! It is the primary method of tracking an auction - not end date!!

Thanks!
