I launched some auctions yesterday and all made it to ebay just fine. However, here at AW one of the auctions looks like it is sitting in pending with an error when in fact it did make it to ebay (I only have 1 left so I cannot afford to have it accidently list a second time). Because the AW site thinks it has an error, it is not showing up on active auctions. Is this going to affect post sale management for this auction? I had it set up for automatic WBN and I'll need the post sale keys at end of auction as well. Plus, because it never moved from pending to active I don't get a reading from the counter unless I go into the auction but then I'll trigger the counter when I do. What do I need to do to fix this?

Hi Antelope67,
Since the item did launch, you can import it back into your control panel using the track auction feature. You can then delete the one that failed in pending. The reason for the failure was that we did not get the launch verification from eBay. When you track in the auction, select "Active" from the panel on the left, select the auction and hit the Edit WBN button. You can see what was stored there and add in any details that might be missing. Unfortunately you probably won't be able to view the counter from the control panel, just the old counter page.
Let me know if you have any other questions with this!

I got it in the active section but I'm unsure what you meant about editing WBN. Will the WBN go out when auction ends? Will post sale management be available for this auction? Was there something else I was supposed to do? I've never had to do this before and I'm a bit confused. All I know is that it is in the active section but I don't know if everything else is gonna work or not.

Hello,
Click on the left in the Auction Manager to view your active items only. When the page with only active items pulls up, check that item and click the button to edit the WBN for this item.
That will pull up what the system has for details about the WBN for this item. You will also see where it says it the auto-wbn for this item is on or not, and give you the option for turning it on if it was not.

Okay. When I did that it showed all the post sale stuff just as it should be so I'm assuming it is on? Also, all the active listings say on the right hand column "Copy | Reset" and this auction just says "Copy" but I'm assuming that is because of having to import it back. Is is okay to delete the error one from pending now? I just don't want to mess anything up.

Hello,
When you are viewing the list of active items only, and have selected to 'edit wbn' for this item - across from it will show if the auto-wbn option is on or off.
That is correct about the missing reset link, because you cannot reset the counter for an auction that was tracked in. Also, you can delete that item from your pending list now - there is no need to save it.

The only thing I see when viewing just the active auctions is 3 buttons
refresh
set wbn
delete
I don't see a button that says edit wbn. Maybe I need glasses.

Hi,
1. Click to view your Active auctions only.
2. Place a check mark next to the auction in question.
3. Click the button just above where it says 'set wbn.' (Sorry if my last post is what confused you here, I did say 'edit' and not 'set.')
4. In the line across from this item, the last bit of data is to show if the auto-wbn is on or off.

Ooooohhhh! I get it now! Jeez, I feel stupid. It said it was off and I switched it on. So everything looks ok now. I'll delete the error one out of pending now. Thank you for being patient with a stoop
