Sonja, I followed your very good advice and successfully launched several auctions to Yahoo. The preview of each auction showed the picture of the item, however the pictures never showed up in the posted auction. When rewriting the site information, etc. (from Ebay to Yahoo) a message appeared that Yahoo didn't support templates. I thought the picture would appear without the template and continued on. In fact the preview bore out my assessment. However, as I said, there is no picture in the posted auction.
What do I do?
TIA - again
Teddi
You will have to add the image to Yahoo - there should be a revision form on Yahoo that lets you add the image. Unfortunately Yahoo does not support templates. Which preview did you use?

I used the Yahoo preview in AW. I'm going to try to launch another but first delete the template in the Ebay version before making the transition to Yahoo format. Will let you know if that works, too.
Thanks, Sonja

Well that didn't work.
Yahoo said it's because my pictures aren't stored in either jpeg or gif. I told them they're all jpeg so that isn't the problem. I'll try to figure out how to remedy the situation over there. I may just pull the auctions in frustration. It's so galling to not have a person on the other end of the ethernet. I'm very grateful that you folks seems to respond so quickly and with follow-through.

Hi dogtogs,
I have looked into your control panel, and consulted all (8) your active auctions at Yahoo. They all have images hosted by AW, and were present there at launch time. Note that your control panel only shows 5 active items, so if you want to see them all, you must click on Active link on left nav.
If you plan to launch the very same item both at eBay and Yahoo, the best way is to use our inventory system. There you may create an item with site specific information for eBay, Yahoo and even Amazon. Then all you have to do is launch it without bother about templates and all. Notice that our inventory system also manages the quantities so if you try to sell an item at Yahoo and it does not, the item gets back in your inventory so you may try to sell it again.
