Hey, AW, after a year and a half of great service from you, I just want to tell you that the current mess-ups and delays in launching times are for the first time causing me to rethink using AW services.
Tonight a moderator told someone on one of the threads that, since Sunday and Thursday are busy, bad days for launching, to essentially try another night, like Monday (tonight), which currently is NOT busy. There's a reason it's not busy! If we wanted to launch on Monday night we'd be doing that!
That simply is not an adequate answer to what I see in various message center sites as an avalanche of threads complaining about this weekend's service. NOT an adequate answer at all, in my humble opinion. ~Adele

Hello roadsmith,
We understand the seriousness of this issue, and we are working very hard to ensure that it will not happen in the future.
We did not recommend that you launch your auctions on Monday, rather, we stated that since Monday is not typically a high volume day, there should be no launching delays. We simply recommend that as a short-term solution, you might consider scheduling your auctions to launch earlier than normal on high-volume days such as Sunday/Thursday.
We feel confident that as we work together with eBay, we will be able to resolve the latency issues. We do apologize for the inconvenience!

Hi Cmscrapbook,
Unfortunately no. Manually launching is treated like a schedule-now. As of matter of fact these busy days are impredictable (I mean the delay, the latency in launching in a busy day), otherwise the solution would be simple: if you know that on a busy day, your listings launch with 75mins57sec later, simply scheduling them 75 mins earlier would do the trick!

No that would not do the trick. Since you already stated you can't tell when it will happen we could end up with aucitons ending at an unwanted time. We schedule auction on a certain time at a certain day for a certain reason. And we pay a fee for doing this and excpect it to be done without a bunch of lame copy and paste responses. Sorry but I just had to let that out.
AuctionWatch and eBay, working together, have corrected an API interface
problem that had been causing some users to experience significant delays
when listing items on eBay.
Both eBay and AuctionWatch are 100% committed to providing excellent service
for sellers listing auctions using AuctionWatch services. To maintain our
level of service, eBay and AuctionWatch are jointly developing systems to
monitor performance and processes for proper response time if any issues
arise.
We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you.
