I was just creating an auction to launch later this evening. It keeps coming back saying, Incomplete Data. It keeps wiping out my category choices. I finally had to save it incomplete.
Are you selecting a category to list your item into using the category tree in the create auction form, or are you manually entering the number after looking it up first?
What is the category you are attempting to list to? Perhaps eBay has since added more options and removed the one you are trying to list to as an available option.

I was using the category tree. I was trying to list under dolls. Under Madame Alexander. I think it was 1970 to present.
