As I surf around the AW site with IE6, it will crash unexpectedly after being on the AW site for about 15 or 20 minutes. Is anyone else experiencing this with IE6 ? It's never in the same place, and never the same error....making it almost impossible to debug. Any ideas?

Hello,

I have been running IE6 myself, and have not had any issues thus far with the program crashing at all.

Is it happening during any specific functions, like clicking tabs/selecting categories?

Like I said, I cannot find any consistancy with the crashes. Not on any one button, tab, or link.

Hello,

If you are getting a general protection fault, click on the details button and check to see what is causing it and in what module. This may be able to give you a better idea of what may be causing the crash.

Hello,

From the sounds of it, IE is having an issue with a JavaScript command on the site. If you just recently upgraded to IE6 and have the installer file still on your local drive, go ahead and reload it.

Other options would be disabling any web protection (virus scanning) software you may run. These programs can have trouble with JavaScript commands, and it may be conflicting.

If these do not help:

Did you change anything on your setup recently (other than possibly upgrading to IE6) that may have happened around the time this error started?

I'm not running any anti-virus software. The only thing I've done is upgrad to IE6 about 3 months ago, and nothing else. I've been having this issue....for about 3 months....and only on the AW site.
