I'm just using this service for image hosting; I already uploaded the pix, but can't figure out how to view them (or let others to do so)...

Hi Aurelio,
Did you need the URL to your images to place in your auctions? To obtain the code which contains a link to your image, first go to your Image Hosting page within Auction Manager. From there, check the box next to each image that you wish to attach to your auction. On the bottom of the page, click the "attach" button. Verify the image and click on "continue". On the next page, copy and paste the entire block of HTML which includes your image URL as well as our banner (a requirement) into the description box of the auction listing form.

Hi Aurelio,
To obtain the exact URL in an easier way than the directions I gave you in my previous post, right-click the full size image and select Properties. You will see the address of the image -- that is what you can give to people to view your images.

HERES ANOTHER WAY... BRING UP THE IMAGE TO ENLARGE. DO A STANDARD COPY AND PASTE OF URL AND DROP INTO EMAILS... WEBSITES OR WHEREEVER

I know that in the recent past, I have specifically asked AW for permission to load jpegs into Image Hosting so that I could send the URL via e-mail to prospective buyers. That way, I wouldn't be clogging the buyer's e-mail client. And I could use higher-res scans than I would normally use on eBay.
I would do this with the understanding that there would eventually be a listing and (hopefully) a sale. If the buyer expressed no interest, I would delete the jpegs within a week.
AW - just to clarify this thread - are you providing hosting for images that can be used outside of auctions?
If so, is this really free? If not, how are you able to determine the fees?

Hi Kahml,
If you are on one of the Premium Plans, image hosting is free and it is unlimited. However if you were on the Standard Plan and you were using images outside of your AW created auctions, you run the risk of being charged the image hosting only fees.
