Well, as expected your maintenance ran way longer than "expected." You certainly cost our busines money. I usually sell at least 10 items with buy it Nows on Friday afternoon. Yesterday I had one. I couldn't list, relist or get my customers info. For all intents and purposes the day was a complete loss for me. I working today (Saturday) because I was able to accomplish nothing yesterday.
As I suggested before, scheduling maintenance for one of the slow days of the week would make more sense. I don't know why you can't see that. A Tuesday or Wednesday would have had much less financial impact on your clientele.
Your problems certainly don't warrant your price increase. You should reassess some of your policies. You should also financially compensate all of us who lost sales yesterday due to your poorly scheduled and lengthy maintenance window.
