When you have items in closed auctions, you check them and click on relist.
Put the date and time in.
submit.
It takes you to another screen and you have no choice but to click continue! WHY BOTHER!?!
Several times over the year, I have notices an error on that screen and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it! So why even make me click on it...just take me back to the control panel!

WHY does the program allow you to schedule an item for a time that has alreay past. Every time I have messed up it is because here, in my neck of the woods it is already the next day. What I mean is right now in Denver it id 12:55 pm on the 12th. I do my relist put in 7:00 pm and after submitting it realize that it is on the 11th! So they immediately launch and I can not do anything about it!

WHY does the program not give you a chance to go back or not allow you to schedule for a time that is already past...hours ago!

Hi richierich,

What error do you see on that page? The second page is merely a confirmation page and will take you back to the Control Panel when you click on continue.

The available launching times are based on PST time. If it is not yet the 12th PST time, then all available launching times for the 11th will be available. There currently is not a safeguard in place for those that schedule their auctions for a time that has already past. We would simply recommend that you be extra careful when scheduling the auctions.

I NEVER said I get an ERROR!

I just think it is stupid that this page even comes up. WHY does it! You can do nothing except tell it to continue, so why does it "act like" a confirmation page. A confirmation page would give you an opportunity to go back and correct/change. This page gives you NO OPTIONS!

I think you missed my point and what I was saying in the first posting. PLEASE read the words typed and if you have any experience with the AW sytem you will know what I am talking about.

WHY would anyone be SCHEDULING an auction for 7:00 on the 11th when it is already 4 hours PAST that! No one would be "scheduling" something for the past!

Hi richierich,

When you said "I have notices an error" I wasn't sure if you noticed your error, or there was an error message.

You are taken to the next page so we can notify you that "Please note that the listing may not move from your 'pending' to 'active' panel immediately after launch. It will move, however, as soon as we've updated it; usually within a few minutes after launch." This is useful information for some of our users.

I understand the problem you are having, however the scheduling drop-down menu does not take away the hours that have passed. The menu will show all available listing times for the current day, even if it is nearing midnight. If an auction is scheduled for a time that has passed, it will launch immediately. This may be something that we can correct, but for now try to be careful when scheduling your auctions.

I will talk to the engineers and see if something can be done regarding this scenario.

"If an auction is scheduled for a time that has passed, it will launch immediately."

Exactly!

If someone wants to launch now they would just leave launch now there, as that is the default. They would never put in a time that has already past!
