I am trying to find out how to go in and change the WBN content that is in my account now. It seems like it would be simple, but I cannot find the trigger to edit the message that goes out.

Also, why doesn't the Auction Manager check for ended auctions when I go to it to check status? When someone does a "Buy It Now" on eBay, I get a message from eBay saying that the auction ended, but when I go to Auction Manager it shows the auction still active with no bidders. I have to click "Refresh" to make it see that the auction has ended. Does it now check the status of all of my auctions before it displays the current status on the screen?

Thanks!

Tommy I'm not from AW, but this should help.

To edit the content of your WBN, click on the "My Account" tab (upper right-hand corner of the screen).

Select "Post Sale Mgmt Options" (right-hand side, next to last link)

Change any of the text in any of the boxes. When you are done, scroll all the way down and click on the "Save Preferences" button.

That should do it.

AM does not automatically send out WBNs for Buy it Now auctions because the system doesn't yet recognize the end of auction. And yes, the easiest way to have AW recognize it is to click Refresh.

If you want, here's one explanation for an option: http://www.auctionwatch.com/mesg/read.html?num=15&thread=65696

But even I can't find the announcement that explained this completely, sorry.

Hello, hth!

Thanks so much! I thought I had looked everywhere...but obviously it was right under my nose and I just didn't look far enough down. DUHHHHHHH! Thanks for your courtesy and guidance!

I had read about the AW program, but I have some eBay auctions not going through AW, so I wouldn't want to set up anything that would affect everything I have up on eBay.

Again, thanks! May all your bidders be good ones and profitable!
