Normally I list the same types of items all the time but now my hubby and I are cleaning house so item size and weight vary considerably. So I usually know what to charge for shipping but for one of my items I didn't. So when I listed the auction via AW I told the system not to send the WBN automatically since I would need to get a shipping quote and didn't want the WBN to go out with total due being just the high bid for fear that they would misunderstand and think I was paying the shipping. The high bidder emailed me his address and I was gonna put it into the WBN manually so that I could print the shipping label. I'm planning on taking the package to the PO tomorrow morning for a shipping quote. Unfurtunately, your system keeps sending me back to fill in shipping $ which I don't know yet, and it keeps erasing the address that I put in! Plus, there is no place to put the shipping $ in the form. So because I'm not psychic and able to know in advance of running the auction where the high bidder lives and how much to charge for the shipping, now I am being punished and not allowed a shipping label? In the cost of listing the auction through AW, image hosting & post sale are supposed to be included. I don't get it. Is there a way to do this or not?
Unless you can specify a shipping amount, the system will not allow you to create a shipping label. If you are going to send the item via the Post Office as you mentioned, you can take the calculator they provide to figure out how much the shipping will be, enter it into the form and print out your label.

Like I said before, there is NO place to put a shipping amount in the form! Never mind, I'll print his email and cut the address out and tape it to the box. The box is too heavy for my little scale (my scale only goes up to 5 pounds) so it has to go to the PO to be weighed.
