THE TAX PULL DOWN MENU IS EVEN MORE AMBIGUOUS NOW THEN EVER BEFORE , THIS SHOULD BE CALCULATED AUTOMATICLY DEPENDING ON WHERE THE ITEM IS BEING SHIPPED TO. BUT NOW THERE IS NO INFO FOR MY CUSTOMERS ON WHAT OR HOW MUCH TO MAKE THE CLUNKY PULL DOWN TAX PERCENTAGE MENU ,

HERE IS A TIP PEOPLE WHO COLLECT TAX ONLY COLLECT IT FOR ONE STATE SO THERE NEEDS ONLY TO BE ONE % FIGURE ADDED IN TO THE POST SALE MANGEMENT ONE TIME AND IT SHOULD WORK FOR ALL MY SALES, IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE ADJUSTED BY EACH CUSTOMER INDIVIDUALLY ,
MAYBE THEN CAN HAVE A CHECK BOX TAX OR NO TAX BUT THE DROPDOWN MENU IS ARCHAIC, AND UN-PROFESSIONAL

THIS IS MY FITH TIME IN OVER A YEAR I HAVE ASKED FOR THIS TO BE CORRECTED

Hi Jewljack,

Thank you for your suggestion. While we understand that you are very frustrated with the way the tax calculation works, many people have different tax percentage specifications depending on the location of the winners. That is why it is a drop down menu.

I find your reasoning for the use of the drop down menu for tax calculations to be insufficient. I have yet to see a retail website that has the customer enter the sales tax percentage. I understand that locales or counties within a state often have different tax amounts. Computer software that calculates the correct tax by zip code is (I would assume) how this is accomplished.

Hello,

We realize that this is a difficult method of calculating the tax for your items. We are looking at changing this process in the near future so that it is more automated and convenient.

THE PROBLEM NOW IS THAT THE TAX MENU IS THERE AND THERE IS NO MESSAGE ON HOW TO USE IT , I HAVE SPECIFIED IN THE POST SALE PREFRENSES THAT THERE BE A PARAGRAPH WHICH I HAVE ENTERD IN BE DISPLAYED NEXT TO THE TAX MENU , NOW THERE IS NOTHING DISPLAYED NEXT TO THE TAX MENU IT JUST SITS THERE WITH ZERO'S AT LEAST LET US PICK A DEFAULT VALUE .

THIS NEEDS IMEADIATE ATTENTION

I do apreciate the quick response , however this has been something we have been asking for over a year, and AW has now made a bad time wasting problem much worse

Hi jewljack,

Like I mentioned in my previous post, we will be modifying this behavior in the future so that there is some sort of default instead of the zeros. We will also be putting out sales tax instructions so that it is not so confusing. This will be released shortly.
