After an irate lecture from a customer, I find this on the checkout form:
"Your billing address must be entered exactly as it appears on your credit card statement. "
This statement appears no matter what form of payment the buyer selects. Why is this statement here? Shouldn't the seller be the one to decide the rules and regulations?
Needless to say the the buyer is angry and tells me "I am unable to send my name and address without completing a billing information field that is stating that it must correspond to some
un-named credit card. I am also asked to do so before a grand total has been provided. I do not find this acceptable."
