Hi Pandorasbox,
If you have already combined this order, you can apply a credit to it which would decrease the shipping. For example if you wanted to ship these items at a discount for $10.95, which would be two for the price of one -- when you click on the combined order, you will see a tab called Apply Payments/Credits. You would enter in $10.95 as your amount and in the reason field, you can enter in that it is a combined shipping discount. When you have applied this credit, you can then send out the WBN for the order and it will be for those two items at the combined shipping discount.

Sonya;
The problem isn't my not knowing how to issue a credit...its that when there is a multiple purchase by a customer in a dutch auction, they are being charged the base rate for shipping x the number of items.
For instance if I charge 9.95 s/h for the first item purchased (within a dutch auction)and my customer buys 2 items...my customer is being automatically charged 2 x the $9.95 or $29.85 s/h.
Please refer to my PSM, auction # 2008069563.
This has nothing to do with issuing credits or combining other items...it revolves around the computation of s/h within dutch auctions.

Hi Pandorasbox,
I looked at your preferences and you have nothing in your shipping discounts. If you put in something like $2.00 off shipping for each additional item in the order, it should apply. Have you already tried this?

The problem is, I have various s/h pricing across a wide variety of items...I would have to re-state all of my existing s/h to conform with your system...The problem is the automatic doubling of s/h...I use s/h as a marketing tool frequently..each auction is different...it is very problematic to make me conform to your check-out system and thus severely curtail my options...

We did *initially* change the calculation of shipping on multiple-qty dutch wins, with the release of the combined shipping features. However, we have changed this back to the old way for now, where each dutch win is counted as a single item. However, this will be the NON-default *option* starting early next week, so you can choose how you'd like your dutch listings' shipping handled.
