I just went to attach a picture in my image hosing and saw an empty box with "no preview available" there. The listing name is "scarfdormont2". How did it get there? I didn't put it in. Am I being charged for someone else's listing?

Hi Jdk156,

This may have appeared if you ever tried to view an image that someone else had while having your account open. You are not getting charged for it, so you can just select it and delete it from your account.

Sonya. I don't understand. The image he is talking about happens to be one that I downloaded. The picture did not appear in my area, it was blank, I then deleted that and reloaded a new one. Now what I want to know. If JDK156 had been into my auction page he/she would have recognized the name. By the sound of it they were not in it. My question is-----As I think about this and how images can appear on someone elses image listing, can this also happen in PayPal, or any site that you need a password for?

Hi Libra63,

Did you try to send out the URL to the image? What I was trying to explain was if you sent someone the URL to one of your images and you sent it from the preview page, it will copy itself as "No Preview Available" in that person's image hosting. They do not have access to your account, nor can they navigate through your account. For example, if I wanted to send you an image and I sent it from the preview page, you wouldn't be able to view it and then you'd find it in your image hosting list as No Preview Available. Try viewing this to see what I mean:

I apologize if I confused you.

This is what I did. I downloaded many images and I received the message all files downloaded. So I went to check them. I noticed that the image scarfdormat2 loaded but no image so I deleted that image and reloaded it from my floppy again. It came out okay. It was just strange to see the posting from jdk156 and see the message that he wrote.

libra63 the only reason I even looked at one of your auctions was when you gave your ebay userid on the EO message board. You were talking about the ties and gave your id so I went and looked at the ties. I never saw the other thing (scarf). Did you see in Eo where another poster had your image show up in her listing too? That person said she had never looked at ANY of your auctions. It's VEEEERY strange!

For what it is worth, I had the identical blank image and title in my images today..and deleted it, since I hadn't a clue as to what it was...and I have never looked at your auction, Libra. Something mysterious is afoot!

jdk156. Thanks for keeping me posted. I did write on this board a note to Sonya. I really would like to know what happened.
I don't care if you view my auctions, maybe you will find something that you like and then I would have benefited from it. Thanks for posting this or I maybe wouldn't have seen it. How strange

You are welcome libra63. I would like to know too. Especially since it showed up somewhere else at about the same time.
