I am having a repeat problem from 2 weeks ago. The auctions that I just launched have photos scrambled in them from other auctions that I listed tonight. The photos that are scrambled are only between the newly listed auctions, not auctions that have been running all week. I was told by Sonya to change my template and that seemed to help until this evening. I now need to end these auctions and this is costing me a lot!! Please help.

Hello,
What did you change when you revised these auctions, and did you see the error prior to making the revisions?

Hi Christopher,
I did not revise any auctions. I ended all the auctions. This is the problem: I upload all my photos into auction watch, I then attach them to the correct auction and you launch my auction to eBay, they are fine for a short while, when I go back and open my auctions, photos are mixed between auctions. I will give you a couple auction numbers from this evening for you to take a look # 1088753295 and # 1088710621. This happened to all 8 auctions that I listed this evening. Photos that I specifically put in certain auctions were showing up in different auctions along with the correct photos. I had this problem 2 weeks ago and was told by you to try changing the template I was using could this be the same problem and why is it only happening to me??
Please help.

Hi cragonlsnet,
I have sent an email to engineering to see if they can figure out why this is happening.
Thanks for being patient.

THANK YOU BRIAN... this problem happened about 15 days ago. Sonya wrote and stated that engineering suggested that I try a different template. I changed templates and all was fine until night before last and I was using the new template. I did try 3 auctions this morning with still another template and up until now they are fine, but soon I will run out of template changes......
Could you tell me if you have seperate servers for your templates, maybe this certain server is having problems and I need to stay away from their templates. Any input would help me to keep listing until the problem is completely solved. Thanks so much for your response

This happened to me too but only on one relisted auction.
I couldn't do anything about the photo but revised the listing before there were bids and stated that I would be happy to email the correct photo to anyone who requested.
Good Luck

Hi,
This is really getting out of control!! 6 of the 8 auctions that I listed earlier today and scheduled to launch this evening have the photos scrambled between them. When they first were launched they were fine... 1/2 hour later the photos have moved from their correct auction and have been inserted into the wrong auction(not by me). The problem seems to start as soon as other computers call up the photos. Please take a look....what a disaster. I cannot continue to list my auctions through your service and try to clean up the mess. I am losing a considerable amount of money every day that I use your service. I understand that I am just the little guy to you,but us little guys add up after a while. I need an answer to my problem other than"engineering will look into this".
Thank You

Sonya,
Maybe reading through this thread may help. This is really out of hand. I spoke to someone at auction watch on the telephone a few minutes ago. My last effort was to close my account and open a new one...and to my amazement was told I cannot close my account without a formal request that could take DAYS. I need help and am getting nowhere!!

Hi Susan,
We are looking into this now, this is a rather unique problem which is not affecting other users, and at this point we are not sure why this would be happening.
I am afraid that closing your account and opening a new one will not solve the problem, but we can do that for you if you would like. Please give us a couple more hours to investigate this - we will get back to you.
Thank you for your patience.

Hi Susan,
I had posted a response in your other thread asking you if you edited the descriptions for these auctions in any way after you launched them. For those auctions, are the images for them unique images or did you previously have other images uploaded that had that same file name?
Do you have any examples where the images were scrambled? I saw some when I looked at your account this morning, however they don't seem to be there anymore. Please also let me know what ISP and what browser you use.

Hi Sonya,
The images were unique to these auctions... I uploaded all new photos and file names and used no previous images with these file names. My ISP is netlink services (nls.net). my browser is internet explorer. I can give you the auction numbers of several that I ended last night right after I noticed the scrambled photos. 1718525628 - 1718530773 - 1089302830 - 1089310024.
Please know that I have not edited any auctions after launch, the only thing I have done after launch is end the listing early when I see the scrambled photos. How are they being edited if it isn't me??
Susan
