The GREMLINS are at work again. On item # 2019244795, someone added $10.65 tax to my invoice. Wonder who that was????? I live in NM and the customer lives in MI. Someone decided I needed some tax on my invoice.
Please quit fooling with my invoices.
If you would like to correct something. please work on correcting how the Invoices/Labels print out.
The tax drop down is inserted in WBNs when you specify tax rules. It goes in as 0.00 so that when the winner is filling out the WBN if they fall under your tax rule, they can choose the correct tax percentage from the drop down menu. It looks like the winner may have accidentally chosen 10.65 in that field however you can change that easily -- let me know if you have trouble with that.

Please fix the tax situation , this should be automatic and deserves THE MOST URGENT ATTENTION as a very larrge percent of sales through AW involve taxes , you are creating thousands of wasted manhours fiddling with this drop down box and having us have to correct problems

I don't understand "most sales thru AW need taxes"? I think it is probably the reverse. Most of my items do not have sales tax on them. I do agree the tax is confusing to some - but that is just part of business.
Tax is an option -- if you don't want to have tax applied you would just check off the box in Post Sale Management Options saying you don't specify tax and the tax drop down will not appear. We are working on a different tax process other than the drop down that allows the winning bidder to select the appropriate tax percentage for their state.

Sonya,
Thank You for your speedy reply. My problem is everytime I have a "problem" with anything it is always the seller, buyer or the equipment that we use. If AW could list THEIR specifics maybe the rest of us could stumble thru complying with it.
When I first started using AW it was very people friendly and very simple to navigate thru. Now it takes a Computer degree to accomplish most of the tasks. Simply, what happened??? I do not mean this in an insulting way, but if you are fixing things that are not broken, and then they are not working appropriately, someone needs to address these issues.
