Hi guys, I have been trying to launch a particular auction for two nights and keep getting an error message - I assume from ebay. The details read as follows -"Cannot launch this auction because of improper words in the title and/or the description". The auction reads as follows-"PROVENCE FRANCE FRENCH WINE TIN SIGN". Please take a look at this auction in my pending section and perhaps you can see what ebay is talking about. If they don't like a partcular word or phrase they should at least tell you which one is improper. How are we supposed to know what to change? Please advise. Thank you, Steve
In order to list in the wine categories, you have to be registered in them on eBay. If you aren't registered in them you should be able to list if you pick a different cagetory.

Hi Sonya, Thank you! I just tried a different category. I went to "barware tools and accessories". Hopefully that will work. I didn't realize that the wine category I selected was for the actual selling of wine. If ebay would give a valid reason (instead of improper words) why an auction errored out it would make my life and probably yours a lot easier. You wouldn't be getting all these types of messages from frustrated sellers. I personally believe that the auction categories are useless anyway. I am sure that 99% of buyers search on words in a title or text rather than a category anyway. Thanks again, Steve
