We do not give emails to companies for junk mail purposes. If you have received spam mail, usually within the body of the mail there is an email address there where you can unsubscribe to whatever mailing list you are on. That should remove you.

I suggest NOT responding to the "opt out" email address in the SPAM. It only lets the spammer know that they've found a "live" email, and then will continue to sell your address to other companies.
The companies that send junk out are randomly picking emails that someone could use, hoping to get a real box. For example: johnsmith@aol, johnsmith1@aol, 1johnsmith@aol, etc...
Someone told me that by having something wierd in your email, you're less likely to receive spam. For example, having a Spanish word in it.
Best thing to do? Use your email block option, and/or throw them all in the trash the same way you do at home. Don't even open them... just file round file 'em.
