This is the error message I get on one relist, a book. It was half way down on the list to edit. I clicked save and got this, OK took back to list. Edit showed no red marks and same error loop. When I finally set date far ahead to place in pending, and launched the rest. I kept getting a page for that book saying to remember to click save.??? I tried again and it still won't launch when I edit it to $1.

Also items will not delete from closed file. They used to delete automatically when launched but now I've tried manually 4 times and they are still there when it comes back up.

Auction saved with errors :

I tried deleting again. They just go to another page in closed instead of disappearing.

Hi Larrkpoodle,
in order to help you, I need the itemID for the original item (the one in closed section)

1538361795 None of the ones from that batch launched either. They are all back in closed without the prices edited.

It also says I have 66, 93 and 105 closed listings total depending on which page I click. Sometimes it says there are 2 pages sometimes 3 and different things appear on the same page whether I go back or forward. Guess I won't be relisting any time soon.

Hi Larrkpoodle,
Found the problem with item 1538361795. It was launched in late May. Since then eBay changed a lot in their category tree, and it seems that you have to edit those listings (from the relist page) and re-select the category.
We are very sorry for this, but there is nothing we can do about this, and relists may fail if the category have changed between the time of the original listing and the time of the relist.

What relist page? I did edit and no red areas showed up as to where the problem was. Any why didn't the rest launch that had no error problem. My closed pages are all mixed up, some have same auction listed twice. Shows 2 or 3 pages, prints out as 3 with listings for each. There is just never an easy way to relist. I wait so long because I dread the time it takes.

Hi Larrkpoodle,
In order to relist one should do the following: go to the closed section, select the items you want to relist, ancd click on the Relist button. The page refreshes and all the selected items are displayed in this page. This is the relist page! One can now select for all the items in the page or individually for each of them the schedule time. Notice at the right end of each line a link called Edit. Click on it to edit the listing and verify if the category is still valid (for listings older then 2 weeks). If the category is not valid, then no category ID will be displayed in the categoryID field. Change it then click Save. Now you can schedule the listings.

That is how I was doing it. I don't know any other way. I just tried only the book. Same error message after selecting category. Category number will not appear in box no matter what I click on.

Hi Larrkpoodle,
As far as I could see the item that you could not relist (1538361795) was listed in eBay category #272 (Books>Fiction>Mystery, Suspense). This category no longer exists at eBay since June 14-th. In order to relist it you can either:
a) edit the item before relisting it (as above) and select a new subcategory for books, or
b) simply relist it directly at eBay and track it at AW.

OK it went through after 3 tries. Now how about the ones that won't delete. I've tried a dozen times. It won't even delete the one that has paid and is finished transaction. I still have to relist all the ones that were with the book as they did not launch either.

Hi Larrkpoodle,
Glad I could help you with relists! Regarding the closed listings 'with finished transaction' that won't delete, in order to help you I will need again some itemID.

I finally got them to delete after checking them all and deleting about 10 times, they finally disappeared. I have a feeling you were changing something last night because nothing was really working as normal. Thanks for the help.
