I've complained about this before, and I'm going to keep complaining until something is done. I had another buyer who went to my check-out, filled in her information, but did not complete the LAST step and confirm that everything was correct. She printed out that page, which contains ALL the info she will need and sent payment to me. On my end, no information registered, so I kept hounding her and hounding her and was just going to start the eBay refund process when I got her payment. She was out of town when I was asking again and again for her information so we could complete the transaction. She had no clue there was any problem on her end, and I was tearing my hair out ready to give up!!
This is not the first time this has happened, and unless you do something about it, it won't be the last. It makes the sellers look like idiots, and I really want something done about it. In the old format, I was able to look in preview or edit and see if someone had filled in the info and not completed the process, but you can't do that anymore. You need to make it so they DO NOT receive ALL the info they will need to complete the transaction. In other words, you need to leave out where to send the payment or some other crucile detail that MAKES them click on the next key!!! Too many of my buyers think it's over when they see the seller info, their info, their shipping choices and grand total, even their comments - EVERYTHING they need to send off payment is there. Why continue? They think they're done. The print-out of the page is pretty much IDENTICAL to if they clicked on the final "confirm" button.
I'm sure I can't be the only seller this has happened to. Please vocalize this if it's happened to you or you think it may have happened to you in the past. Or be on the look-out for when a buyer swears they filled out the info, but your #2 box has not turned blue.

Hello toyspast,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I will pass this along, and see if we can take a closer look at this process. We would definitely like checkout to be as intiutive for your customers as possible.

Awhile back I posted a similar query. I had a customer send me a payment and saw that they hadn't filled out checkout and wondered how they got my address. Now I know.
