I emailed earlier today and I really can't wait 24 hours for a response. . . as it is I stayed up for launching tonight (thank god, they all errored)

I am getting "Error 313: Failed in Insurance. You need specify the insurance option as a optional or required if you provide the insurance amount."

I have neither an amount specified nor an optional etc. Tried several things the only thing that worked was actually inserting an amount. . . I dont want that there. Can you tell me where the problem is and if it can be rectified? Thanks

Hi Ti1,

Is this a relist, that you are receiving this error on? If so, try relisting with the same settings that it had when you originally launched the item.

All of the auctions that I had scheduled last night got that error message, some were relist and others were directly from inventory. The only way I was able to succeed in launching them was to input an amount in the insurance field, which I really want blank.

Hi Ti1,

You are referring to the insurance field in the ebay checkout details? Or insurance that you have set at $1.10 for the first $100, in your global preferences?

Hello,

If you set a shipping and handling price and leave insurance set at "not offered" you should be able to list without putting 0.00 in the insurance field. What are you selecting in the drop down for insurance?

I have "not offered" selected. With the new shipping rates coming I have also opted not to have s/h posted in the ebay checkout, but I do want to keep the message to the buyer.

Hi Ti1,

Do you have an auction in pending that I can try to launch? I tested selecting "not offered" and it launched fine, I also put something in the shipping and handling field. You can have eBay Checkout disabled and still have a message there to the buyer (you could say you don't offer insurance, or something along that line).

The one that I saved that had the error on it no longer has the error. . . ? You can try launching the Calphalon 1 qt, the third item from the top in the pending auctions. But is it a moot point now? Thanks!

Hi Ti1,

The reason the error was gone when you looked at your account was because I went in and looked at that auction -- when you do that, the error message usually disappears. Either way -- I noticed upon trying to list this auction, that it said it was scheduled for relist. When you originally listed it, what were your settings for eBay Checkout? You have to relist it exactly as it was listed which could be why it continues to fail.
