Moderators: Sure hope you can help me here. 8 days ago I launched my auctions and had opted for the 25-cent "gallery" picture (thumbnail) for three of the auctions, through AuctionWatch of course.
I'm speaking of the little pictures that show at the top left corner of the auction page itself, not the official "Gallery" of ebay, which is much more expensive.
This has worked for me in the past. The pictures are not there this week. Any explanation would be gratefully received.

Hello roadsmith,
Through our system, you have the option to insert an image in the eBay Gallery, which will also display a thumbnail in the search list as well. The small picture in the top lefthand corner of the auction page is a feature that is only available if you use eBay's image hosting.

Diana: Thanks for your prompt reply. I am still somewhat confused. If you look at the listing page we all have, it isn't clear at all that the 25-cent picture preview is only IF we're also opting for the Gallery. Is this truly the case? Then why aren't the two items (25 cents and $$$$$huge dollars) combined? I know that in the past I've had the picture preview on my AUCTION PAGE ONLY, not in the big listing of all the auctions in that category. I would really appreciate clarification on this.
The confusion is probably coming from the wording change eBay did a little while back. The gallery view is obtained by checking the box for the 25 cent picture preview.
You do not have to add your item to the expensive gallery to get the picture preview next to the title of your item on the search pages.
What Diana was referring to is that you cannot get the 'Title bar picture' via any third party listing program, but that is not the gallery or what you are referring to.
