When using recurring listings if the item does not sell is it submitted as a relist entiltled to a refund on sale or is it a new listing as I suspect incurring all fees? I base my suspicion on the fact that the old listing does not state item was relisted click to goto new listing.
Recurring listings are new auctions launched according to a specific schedule. It is not a system to automatically relist items that were not sold. Items that do not sell need to be relisted manually.

Ergo you can set up recurring listings of items that you expect to sell but if it doesn't sell you'd better cancel the launch and then manualy relist. Plus as an added bonus when system resources are overburdened and latency becomes an issue the next listing will overlap albeit for a few minutes sometimes more and give potential bidders additional supply to diminish their bids or you can manually adjust the launch times (as I had to do)defeating any time savings initially gained by using the feature. Wouldn't it make sense to have a setting for relisting auctions after conclusion with a successful winning bid as one of the options in the scheduling?
