It seems like the topic of WBN response by customers is an ongoing discussion on these boards.
I have found that most customers who use the WBN checkout find it easy to use and helpful. The challenge is in getting the customers to consistently read the WBN and use the checkout.
Would it be possible to have a "Checkout Now or Pay Now" icon/logo available in the auction listing? The icon link would not be valid until the auction closed...similar to PayPal's Instant Payment logo. If someone where to click on the icon while the auction was still open, the window message could state something like "please wait until the auction is over for checkout". The seller could state in the auction listing instructing to use the "checkout" button in the listing when the auction is complete. This would be VERY useful for fixed price and BIN auctions.
WBNs could be revised to read "please use the link below to check out or use the Checkout link in the auction ad."
