Hi!
I have modified the original WBN that AW supplied, but now I think that I would like to restore it to the AW version. Is there someway of doing this? Thanks!

Hi Mycoolstuff,

You will need to cut&paste the text below and place it into the designated fields in MyAcct > Post Sale Mgt page. Find below the default subject and body of the WBN

Subject:
You Won Auction #%%AuctionId%% - %%Title%%

Body:
Dear %%Winner%%, [%%ClosePrice%%]

You have won %%AuctionID%% on %%site%%. Please complete the form below and click on the 'Submit' button when done. If you have trouble completing this form, please click on the link provided at the bottom of the page.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you need also the other default texts.

Is there actually a form at the bottom of the WBN email as the following sentence from the default email suggests?
"Please complete the form below and click on the 'Submit' button when done. If you have trouble completing this form, please click on the link provided at the bottom of the page.
"
When I changed a winning bidder's email address to my email address, and sent myself a WBN, there was no form on the email.

I am a totally confused user!

Hi Mycoolstuff,

That actually was the wrong message...sorry about that! You are looking to restore the default email message that gets sent to the winner, correct? If so here is what should be placed there:

The default subject was:

Congratulations %%Winner%%! Checkout instructions for %%Title%%

The default message was:

Hello %%Winner%%,

Congratulations! You are the winning bidder on %%Site%% item #%%AuctionId%%, "%%Title%%". I look forward to promptly shipping your item. Please help me quickly process your order by clicking on the link at the bottom of this e-mail. The link will take you to a secure checkout form, which allows you to quickly enter your shipping and payment information.

Please do not attempt to complete your purchase using any other method, as it may delay shipment of your item.
If you have any questions, please reply to this email.

We appreciate your business!

Thank you,
%%MyName%%

I hope this helps!

Thanks Sonya,
This one makes much more sense! When you have a moment would you please post the default for the welcome message that displays at the top of the check out form. Thanks very much!

Sonya,
One more question....
On the "Check out : Order Confirmation" page, is there anyway to change the line
"You can print a copy of this page for your records.
If you have any questions about the status of your order, please contact me."?

I don't think that AW users have any control over that page, but I would love to add something about either "enclosing a copy of this page with snailmail payment" or "enclosing the item # and title with snailmail payment". I know that I can do it on an earlier screen, but it would be much more effective here.
Thanks for all your help today!

Hello,

Unfortuantely that line of text cannot be changed. It might be more effective to have it elsewhere, such as in your Welcome Message.
