I often use ebay's "personal offer" feature to offer sell items to an underbidder in one of my previously closed auction of items that I have duplicates of.

My problem --I send the personal offer through ebay's "personal offer" link on the original auction page, which in effect creates a new auction limited to one buyer only. I then try to import the auction through the "track" feature so that I can use auctionwatch online management features.

It appears to import them, but I tried this 5 times and all my personal offer auctions are still showing in my active panel as "updating" (after over a week!).

Am I doing this improperly, or does auctionwatch not suppport this feature. If not, might it become available to do this? My solution in the interim is to pretend to be my buyer and complete a storefront transaction, with the customer's e-mail listed as my own e-mail, so they don't get notices that confuse them. But then I have to separately e-mail them shipment notifications, etc, as I can't see how I can revise a customer e-mail after confirming the "storefront" purchase.

Help! This is too hard, but I love the auctionwatch post management features.

Hi ashtonne,

We do not currently support the eBay personal offer feature. While we do hope to support all of eBays listing options in the future, we do not have an ETA available for this feature.

I used to use the personal offer until I discovered that it is possible for people to stumble into them as they are not as hidden as eBay intimates. The can only be bought by the specific buyer sent to but they can be seen and will show up in certain searches. I've had a buyer who paid the higher price see it an hour later, not the high point of my selling day.
