Hello estatesalestuff,

You can do this using this link:

http://www.auctionwatch.com/my/count/

To find the link, click the Image Hosting tab, and it will be in the lefthand navigation bar.

Note that adding a counter through this form will not result in a value being displayed in the "hits" column in Sales Manager. You will need to go back to this form or open the auction in order to see the count.

Did you launch the auction through Sales Manager? If so, you might need to just change the counter style from invisible to visible. Please let us know if this is the case.

Thanks,

Diana

Hmmm.. i went ahead and added one of ebay sponsored andale counters when i hadn't heard back from you ... it sure does tally up lower numbers than AW Sales Manager list shows ...that's weird. .. ... ... i launched the auction thru AW, but yes, you're right i have my AW options set for invisible. ... thanks, diana - marcia

Hello estatesalestuff,

While changing counter on eBayPreferences page, also note the type of counter:
- if you select "Simle type", then the counter will count every page hit. (this means that the counter will increment if you simply hit reload!)
- if you select "Smart type", then the counter will show different visitors will not increment if you reload the page)
This may be the expanation for the difference between the counter you selected at AW and the one provided by eBay.
